GCSE concert by Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra – 15th November 2022

KS4 GCSE Concert
Swindon Music Service, in partnership with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, held a music GCSE concert for secondary schools at the Platform on Tuesday 15th November 2022
The concert was presented by Patrick Bailey, BSO Associate Musician, and members of the orchestra, who took the students through a musical tour through history. Patrick used many useful terms throughout his analysis which will assist in expanding musical knowledge.The concert covered the three elements of the GCSE Music curriculum: Performance; listening & appraising and composition. The following schools took part seeing 175 pupils attending:
Abbey Park 20 pupils; Bradon Forest 15 pupils; The Deanery 20 pupils; Dorcan Academy 7 pupils; GWA 25 pupils; Kingsdown 15 pupils; LPA 30 pupils; Warneford 40 pupils
