Tuition Fee Subsidies for Academic Year 2024-25

Important Dates

The deadline for all subsidy requests (both in-school and out-of-school) for the 2024-25 academic year was Friday, November 8, 2024.

Changes for 2024-25

Due to Arts Council England’s Music Hub Investment Programme, there will be a transition in Hub Lead Organisation (HLO) from Wiltshire Music Connect to GSW Music Hub starting September 2024. The good news is that GSW Music Hub has confirmed they will continue our existing tuition subsidy scheme. Initial subsidy payments through December 2024 will come from Wiltshire Music Connect, with subsequent payments provided by GSW Music Hub.

How to Apply

Schools can now submit tuition subsidy requests through our new online portal. To access the portal:
1. Request your login credentials [Request Login]
2. Note: Only schools can access the portal (not Associates)

Eligibility Requirements

• Subsidies are only available when working with our approved Associate tutors
• Check our [Directory] to verify if your tutor is an Associate

Subsidy Guidelines

Available for:

• Individual 15-minute lessons
• Shared 20-minute lessons
• Shared 30-minute lessons
• Tutor rates must fall between £30.40 – £40.80 per hour (recommended range: £36.65 – £40.80)
• School admin fees are not included in these rates
• Only schools can request and receive subsidy payments
• Requests must be submitted in advance (no retrospective applications)
• Lessons must be spread throughout the academic year (weekly sessions)
•  No EHCP or SEND documentation required
• Students can only receive support for ONE Associate Tutor per academic year
• Out-of-School Tuition
